For Gelli plate printing you need a gel plate,which is slightly soft ,like jelly. You also need acrylic paint ,a roller and various things to print .You put the paint on the Gelli Plate and spread it with the roller ,then place your shapes on the paint. You can use many things to print with feathers ,leaves ,stencils and round shapes ,a empty reel of thread gives you a circle.

Then you place you paper or fabric over the paint and make sure it has good contact then carefully lift off the paper and let it dry .Fabric can then be stitched on .

Handmade paper ,fabric and cardboard also work well .
