“Waiting”  Dark Teal and Gold Bureau with Mermaid/Seascape decoration.

Upcycled from a 1980s piece, this bureau has been decorated with a mix of decoupage, freehand painting and gilding.

Supports automatically come out to support the lid when opened.  Two small internal drawers and 3 external drawers with gilded original hardware.  Leather writing pad.  Functioning lock with key.

Dimensions: Width - 42cm, Length 75cm, Height - 100cm, Drawer heights – 9.5cm , 12cm, 15cm

Please note that most of my pieces are rescued from landfill and whilst I clean, repair and prep all pieces before upcycling, some signs of ageing and wear and tear cannot be fixed - I like to think these imperfections add to the character of the pieces.
