Step into the world of napkin decoupage and decorate your own tray during our 6 hour workshop. Decoupage using napkins normally refers to cutting and pasting pieces of napkin together onto a surface. In this workshop you will learn how to use an almost whole napkin to cover a larger area and achieving a flawless finish. Suitable both for beginners and those with previous experience as we will dive into the details of using the thin, easily ripped material of a napkin to create a wrinkle-free surface with a design of your choosing. Although you will work on a bamboo tray during the workshop, you will learn how to prepare any substrate for decoupage. We will explore creating different background effects, achieving neat or/and blended edges/corners and generally the creative possibilities offered by the craft of napkin decoupage. You don’t need to bring anything other than yourself, as we provide all tools and materials required to complete a tray and a coaster to take home. Refreshments, cakes or biscuits are included.
