2 full days(9-5pm) on the 21/22nd of February 2026.

I offer a Beginners One-Day Stained Glass Workshop using the Copper Foil Method, suitable both for those who have never worked with glass before and for those with some previous experience.  

During this one-day class, participants will learn the fundamental skills of stained glass making. 

Using a prepared, simple pattern (with a choice of designs available), students will be guided step by step through the process of:

• cutting and shaping glass

• applying copper foil

• soldering

• assembling a finished stained glass panel Whether you are completely new to working with glass or already have some experience, you will be guided through the entire process, ensuring you learn new skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. 

 All students will have access to a selection of glass, copper foil (various widths and backing colours), basic tools, and professional guidance throughout the day.  

The workshop runs from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. 

Lunch is not provided; however, there are cafés and shops nearby, and there will be a one-hour lunch break. Coffee, tea, cakes, and cookies will be provided on site.  

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience, participants are asked to come prepared:

• wear clothes that can get dirty or damaged

• bring an apron

• closed-toe footwear is mandatory (no open shoes allowed)

• rubber gloves and safety glasses are recommended; if you do not have them, they will be provided on site  

Workshops are held in small groups of up to 6 participants, allowing for individual attention and a supportive learning environment.
